12 Volt Battery Sensor Removal and Installation

12 Volt Battery Sensor - Remove
1.
Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF (LOCK) mode.
2.
Disconnect the connector (A).
3.
Disconnect the negative terminal (B) from the 12 volt battery sensor (C).
NOTE: To protect the connector (D) from damage, do not hold it when removing the negative terminal.
4.
Remove the 12 volt battery sensor from the 12 volt battery.

12 Volt Battery Sensor - Install
1.
Install the 12 volt battery sensor (A) to the 12 volt battery.
NOTE:
Make sure the areas between the negative terminal and the 12 volt battery sensor are clean.
To protect the connector (B) from damage, do not hold it when installing the negative terminal.
2.
Install the negative terminal (C) on the 12 volt battery sensor.
3.
Connect the connector (D).
4.
Apply multipurpose grease to the terminal to prevent corrosion.
