Wiper Arm/Nozzle Adjustment
Windshield

1. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjust

Adjust the washer nozzles by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of each nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arms Auto-Stop Position

1.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stop at the auto-stop position, make sure that they are at the correct position.

a: Position at about 54.5 mm (2.146 in) from the top of the cowl cover (C).

b: Position at about 15.3 mm (0.602 in) from the top of the cowl cover (C).


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer, make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle(s).

c: Position at about 200 mm (7.87 in) from the windshield center line (D).

d: Position at about 434 mm (17.09 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (E) at the lower windshield.

e: Position at about 385 mm (15.16 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (E) at the lower windshield.

f: Position at about 420 mm (16.54 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (E) at the lower windshield.

Rear Window

1. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjust (Without Tailgate Spoiler)

Adjust the washer nozzle by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arm Auto-Stop Position

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stops at the auto-stop position, make sure that it is at the correct position.

a: Wiper arm stop position at silver paste print mark (C) of the glass.


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer, make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle.

b: Position at about 50.8 mm (2.000 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (D).

c: Position at about 60.4 mm (2.378 in) from the position (E).

d: Position at about 108 mm (4.25 in) from the rear window center line (F).

2. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjust (With Tailgate Spoiler)

Adjust the washer nozzle by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.

b: Position at about 76.2 mm (3.000 in) from the top of the black ceramic area (D).

c: Position at about 40.5 mm (1.594 in) from the position (E).
