Parking Brake Cable Removal and Installation

Parking Brake Cable - Exploded View
Exploded View
NOTE: Refer to the Exploded View as needed during this procedure.

Vehicle - Lift
2.
Rear Wheels - Remove
3.
Center Console - Remove
4.
Front Floor Undercover - Remove (For Some Model)
5.
Parking Brake - Release
6.
Parking Brake Cable Front Side - Disconnect
1.
Remove the wire guide base (A).
2.
Disconnect the parking brake cables (B) from the equalizer (C).

Rear Brake Shoe - Remove
8.
Parking Brake Cable Rear Side - Disconnect
1.
Remove the parking brake cable (A) from the backing plate (B) by pushing the lock (C).
9.
Parking Brake Cable - Remove
1.
Remove the parking brake cables (A) from the clips (B).
2.
Remove the parking brake cable grommets (C).
3.
Pull out the parking brake cables from the body floor.
4.
Remove the parking brake cable (A).
NOTE: Be careful not to bend or distort the cable.
10.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parking brake cable in the reverse order of removal.
11.
Parking Brake - Adjust
