Heater Control Cable Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1.	Passenger's Dashboard Under Cover - Remove

2.	Glove Box - Remove

3.	Air Mix Control Cable, Mode Control Cable, and Recirculation Control Cable - Remove

Set the A/C system to the following items.

Temperature control dial: MAX COOL

Mode control dial: VENT

Recirculation control lever: RECIRCULATE

Remove the control cable (A) from the clamp (B) and the groove (C).

Remove the inner cable (D) from the control linkage (E).

4.	All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Make sure insert the ring in the groove.

After installation, operate the control panel controls to see whether it works properly.
