1. Mainshaft Oil Seal - Remove
1.
Remove the ball bearing (A) using the adjustable bearing remover set.
2.
Remove the oil seal (A).
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the clutch housing when removing the seal.

2. Mainshaft Oil Seal - Install
1.
Drive in the oil seal (A) about 0.5?0.9 mm (0.020?0.035 in) below the surface of the clutch housing (B) using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 37 x 40 mm bearing driver attachment.
2.
Drive in the ball bearing from the transmission side using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 52 x 55 mm bearing driver attachment.
