If the low oil pressure indicator stays on with the engine running, check the engine oil level. If the oil level is correct:

2. Engine Oil Pressure - Test

1.
Install the oil pressure hose, the A/T low pressure gauge w/panel, the A/T pressure test hose, the pressure gauge adapter, and the A/T pressure adapter as shown, then install the rocker arm oil pressure sensor to the pressure gauge adapter.

2.
Start the engine. Shut it off immediately if the gauge registers no oil pressure. Repair the problem before continuing.

NOTE: A Pending or Confirmed DTC may be set during this procedure. Check for DTCs, and clear them as needed.

3.
Allow the engine to reach operating temperature (fan comes on at least twice). The pressure should be:

Engine Oil Temperature:
176 °F (80 °C)

Engine Oil Pressure
At Idle:
80 kPa (0.82 kgf/cm2, 11.6 psi) min.
At 3,000 rpm:
330 kPa (3.37 kgf/cm2, 47.9 psi) min.

4.
If oil pressure is out of specifications, inspect these items:

Oil filter blocked or plugged.
Oil strainer blocked or plugged.

3. Oil Pressure Hose, A/T Low Pressure Gauge w/Panel, A/T Pressure Test Hose, Pressure Gauge Adapter, and A/T Pressure Adapter - Remove

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
