NOTE:
Before doing this troubleshooting, confirm the customer's smartphone is compatible with the vehicle, and see how to connect the customer's smartphone to the vehicle.
Make sure the appropriate application is already installed in the customer's smartphone.
Make sure the customer's smartphone settings for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are to ON.
Make sure the vehicle settings for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are to ON.

Check to see if the customer's smartphone operates normally using an external connection other than the vehicle (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI/USB).

Connect the customer's smartphone to the vehicle in the way that vehicle supports, and check the smartphone operation.

The failure is duplicated, go to step 4.
