B1003 MICU update error
 

NOTE:
NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
This DTC is indicated when a MICU update is not completed properly.
Before update the MICU, make sure the 12 volt battery in the vehicle is fully charged, and connect a 12 volt jumper battery (not a battery charger) to maintain system voltage.
Never turn the vehicle to the ACCESSORY mode or OFF (LOCK) mode, during the reprogramming. If there is a problem with the reprogramming, turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.
