1. Automatic Transmission Assembly - Remove

Remove the automatic transmission.

2. Drive Plate - Remove

Remove the drive plate.

3. Transmission End Crankshaft Oil Seal - Remove
Remove the transmission end crankshaft oil seal.


4. Transmission End Crankshaft Oil Seal - Install
1.
Clean and dry the crankshaft oil seal housing.
2.
Apply a light coat of new engine oil to the crankshaft and to the lip of the crankshaft oil seal.
3.
Using the driver handle, 15 x 135L and the oil seal driver attachment, 106 mm, drive in the new crankshaft oil seal (A) until the oil seal driver attachment bottoms on the engine block end cover. Align the hole in the oil seal driver attachment with the pin on the crankshaft.
4.
Clean the excess oil off the crankshaft, and check that the oil seal lip is not distorted.

5. Drive Plate - Install

Install the drive plate.

6. Automatic Transmission Assembly - Install

Install the automatic transmission.
