EPS Control Unit Removal and Installation
1. Driver's Dashboard Undercover - Remove

Remove the driver's dashboard undercover..

2. Brake Pedal Support Member- Remove
Remove the brake pedal support member (A), and move it aside.


3. EPS Control Unit - Remove
1.
Disconnect EPS control unit connector A and EPS control unit connector B by pushing the lock (C), and pulling down the lever (D).

Remove the EPS control unit (E).

1. EPS Control Unit - Install
1.
Install the EPS control unit (C).
2.
Connect EPS control unit connector A and EPS control unit connector B, then pulling up the lever (D), and confirm the connector is fully seated.

2. Brake Pedal Support Member - Install
Install the brake pedal support member (A).


3. Driver's Dashboard Undercover - Install

Install the driver's dashboard undercover..

Update the EPS control unit with the HDS if it does not have the latest software.

4. Torque Sensor Neutral Position - Memorizing

Do the torque sensor neutral position memorization.

5. EPS Control Unit After Install - Check

After installation, check these items:
Start the engine, allow it to idle, and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times.
Check that the EPS indicator does not come on.
