Front Door Outer Handle Removal and Installation
1. Front Door Cylinder - Remove
1.
Remove the plug cap (A), then remove the bolt (B).
2.
Remove the front door cylinder (A).

2. Front Door Panel - Remove

Remove the front door panel.

3. Front Door Plastic Cover - Remove
1.
Disconnect the power door lock actuator connector (A), and remove the harness clip (B).
2.
Remove the plug cap (C).

3.
Remove the front door plastic cover (D) as needed.
NOTE: If the plastic cover is damaged or torn, replace it with a new one.

4. Front Door Outer Handle - Remove
1.
Disconnect the outer handle connector (A).
2.
Remove the harness clip (B).
3.
Remove the front door outer handle (A).

5. Front Door Outer Handle Seals - Remove
Remove the front door outer handle seals (A).


6. Front Door Center Lower Channel - Remove (2-Door)

Remove the front door center lower channel.

7. Front Door Outer Handle Base - Remove (2-Door)
1.
Remove the nut (A).
2.
Slide out the outer handle base (B), and remove it.
3.
Disconnect the outer handle rod (A) with a clip remover.
4.
Remove the rod fastener (A) from the outer handle base (B).

8. Front Door Outer Handle Base - Remove (4-Door)
1.
Disconnect the outer handle rod (A) with a clip remover.
2.
Remove the nut (A).
3.
Slide out the outer handle base (B), and remove it.
4.
Remove the rod fastener (A) from the outer handle base (B).

1. Front Door Outer Handle Base - Install (2-Door)
1.
Install the new rod fastener (A) to the outer handle base (B).
2.
Connect the outer handle rod (A).
3.
Install the outer handle base (A).

2. Front Door Outer Handle Base - Install (4-Door)
1.
Install the new rod fastener (A) to the front door outer handle base (B).
2.
Install the outer handle base (A).
3.
Connect the outer handle rod (A).

3. Front Door Center Lower Channel - Install (2-Door)

Install the front door center lower channel.

4. Front Door Outer Handle Seals - Install
Install the front door outer handle seals (A).


5. Front Door Outer Handle - Install
1.
Install the front door outer handle (A).
2.
Connect the outer handle connector (A).
3.
Install the harness clip (B).

6. Front Door Plastic Cover - Install
1.
Install the front door plastic cover (A).
2.
Install the harness clip (B) and connect the power door lock actuator connector (C).
3.
Install the plug cap (D).

7. Front Door Panel - Install

Install the front door panel.

8. Front Door Cylinder - Install
1.
Make sure the slot (A) is within the range (B) as shown.
2.
Install the front door cylinder (A).
3.
Install the bolt (A), then install the plug cap (B).
