Rear Door Latch Removal and Installation
1.
Rear Door Panel - Remove
Remove the rear door panel

2.
Rear Door Plastic Cover - Remove
1.
Disconnect the power door lock actuator connector (A), and remove the harness clip (B).
2.
Remove the plug cap (C).
3.
Remove the rear door plastic cover (D) as needed.
NOTE: If the plastic cover is damaged or torn, replace it with a new one.
3.
Rear Door Latch - Remove
1.
Remove the bolts (A) with a TORX T30 bit, then remove the rear door latch (B).
NOTE: Take care not to bend the inner handle cable (C) and the latch cable (D).
2.
Open the latch protector lids (A).
3.
Disconnect the latch cable (A) and the inner handle cable (B) from the rear door latch (C).

Rear Door Latch - Install
1.
Connect the latch cable (A) and the inner handle cable (B) to the rear door latch (C).
2.
Close the latch protector lids (A).
3.
Install the bolts (A) with a TORX T30 bit, and install the rear door latch (B).
NOTE: Take care not to bend the inner handle cable (C) and the latch cable (D).

Rear Door Plastic Cover - Install
1.
Install the rear door plastic cover (A).
2.
Connect the power door lock actuator connector (B), and install the harness clip (C).
3.
Install the plug cap (D).
