Fuel Fill Door Opener Cable Removal and Installation
1. Fuel Fill Door Opener - Remove

Remove the trunk lid opener.

2. Left B-Pillar Lower Trim - Remove (4-Door)

Remove the left B-pillar lower trim.

3. Left Rear Seat Side Bolster - Remove (4-Door)

Remove the left rear seat side bolster.

4. Left Rear Side Trim Panel - Remove (2-Door)

Remove the rear side trim panel.

5. Left Trunk Side Trim Panel - Remove (4-Door)

Remove the left trunk side trim panel.

6. Fuel Cap Adapter - Remove

Remove the fuel cap adapter.

7. Trunk Lid Latch - Remove

Remove the trunk lid latch.

8. Fuel Fill Door Opener Cable - Remove

Pull back the carpet as needed.

Remove the trunk lid opener cable/fuel fill door opener cable (A).

Release the opener cable joint (A).

Remove the trunk lid opener cable (B) and the fuel fill door opener cable (C) from the trunk compartment and the trunk lid.
5.
While pinching the hooks (A) from inside the vehicle, remove the fuel cap grommet (B) from the body.
6.
Remove the fuel cap grommet (A) from the fuel fill door latch (B).
7.
Remove the fuel fill door opener cable from inside the body.
8.
Remove the trunk lid opener cable/fuel fill door opener cable from the vehicle.

1. Fuel Fill Door Opener Cable - Install
1.
Install the fuel cap grommet (A) to the fuel fill door latch (B).
2.
Install the fuel cap grommet (A) to the body.

Install the trunk lid opener cable (A) and the fuel fill door opener cable (B) to the trunk compartment and the trunk lid.
NOTE: Align the mark(s) (C) on the opener cable with the cushion tape (D) and the clip(s) (E) as shown.

Install the opener cable joint (F).

Pull back the carpet as needed.
6.
Install the trunk lid opener cable/fuel fill door opener cable (A).

NOTE: Align the mark(s) (B) on the opener cable with the clip (C) and the cushion tape (D) as shown (4-door).

2. Trunk Lid Latch - Install

Install the trunk lid latch.

3. Fuel Cap Adapter - Install

Install the fuel cap adapter.

4. Left Rear Side Trim Panel - Remove (2-Door)

Install the rear side trim panel.

5. Left Trunk Side Trim Panel - Install (4-Door)

Install the left trunk side trim panel.

6. Left Rear Seat Side Bolster - Install (4-Door)

Install the left rear seat side bolster.

7. Left B-Pillar Lower Trim - Install (4-Door)

Install the left B-pillar lower trim.

8. Fuel Fill Door Opener - Install

Install the trunk lid opener.
