Rear Seat Access Lever - Remove (2-Door Driver's Seat)
Remove the rear seat access lever (A).

Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Remove
1.
From under the seat cushion, release the elastic strap (A) from the seat cushion frame springs (B).
2-door driver's seat (with seat heater)
4-door driver's seat (without seat heater)
4-door driver's seat (with seat heater)
2-door passenger's seat (with seat heater)
4-door passenger's seat (without seat heater and without back panel)
4-door passenger's seat (with seat heater)

From under the seat cushion, remove these items:
4-door driver's seat (without seat heater) and 4-door passenger's seat (without seat heater and without back panel):

Side airbag connector clip (A)

Harness clip (B)

Harness holders (C)
With seat heater:

Seat-back heater connector (D)

Harness clip (E)
?
Harness holders (F)

Without back panel: Release the hook strip (A) and the hook and loop fasteners (B), then unzip the seat-back cover (C).

With back panel: Remove the back panel (A).
Without back panel (except 2-door without seat heater)
With back panel (with seat heater)

Release the hook and loop fastener (A).
NOTE: The driver's seat is shown; the passenger's seat is similar.

4-door power seat (with back panel): Remove the harness clip (A).

Release the hook strips (B).
8.
4-door: Release the hooks (C) from the seat frame (D).
2-door (with seat heater)

2-door (with seat heater) and 4-door (with back panel and with seat heater): Remove the harness clip (A).
10.
Pull out the following harness:
4-door (without back panel): Side airbag harness (B)
2-door (with seat heater) and 4-door (with back panel and with seat heater): Seat heater harness (C)

Release airbag attachment wire A and airbag attachment wire B.
12.
Remove the head restraint guides (A).
13.
2-door driver's seat: Remove the rear seat access lever inner trim (A).
14.
Remove the seat-back cover/pad (A).

Front Seat-Back Cover - Remove

Remove the upholstery rings (A) securing the seat-back cover (B).
2.
Remove airbag attachment wire A, B.

Front Seat-Back Cover - Install
NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).

Install airbag attachment wires A and B.

Install the new upholstery rings (A) securing the seat-back cover (B).

Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Install

Install the seat-back cover/pad (A).

2-door driver's seat: Install the rear seat access lever inner trim (A).
3.
Install the head restraint guides (A).
4.
Install airbag attachment wire A and airbag attachment wire B.
2-door (with seat heater)
4-door (without back panel)
4-door (with back panel and with seat heater)
5.
Pass the following harness as shown:
4-door without back panel: Side airbag harness (A)
2-door (with seat heater) and 4-door (with back panel and with seat heater): Seat heater harness (B)

2-door (with seat heater) and 4-door (with back panel and with seat heater): Install the harness clip (C).

4-door: Install the hooks (A) to the seat frame (B).
8.
Install the hook strips (C).
9.
4-door power seat (with back panel): Install the harness clip (D).
Without back panel (except 2-door without seat heater)
With back panel (with seat heater)
10.
Install the hook and loop fastener (A).
NOTE: The driver's seat is shown; the passenger's seat is similar.
11.
Without back panel: Zip the seat-back cover (A), then install the hook strip (B).
12.
With back panel: Install the back panel (A).
