Blower Unit Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Glove Box - Remove

Remove the glove box.

2. Passenger's Heater Duct - Remove

Remove the passenger's heater duct.

3. Blower Unit - Remove
1.
Disconnect the blower motor connector (A).
2.
Remove the harness clip (B).
3.
Remove the harness clips (A).
4.
Disconnect the dashboard wire harness connectors (B).
5.
With stereo amplifier: Disconnect the stereo amplifier connectors (C).
6.
Remove the blower unit stay (A).
7.
Remove the harness clip (A).
8.
Disconnect the recirculation control motor connector (A).
9.
Remove the harness clip (B).
10.
Remove the blower unit (A) and the A/C wire harness (B).

1.
Install the blower unit (A) and the A/C wire harness (B).
2.
Connect the recirculation control motor connector (A).
3.
Install the harness clip (B).
4.
Install the harness clip (A).
5.
Install the blower unit stay (A).
6.
Connect the dashboard wire harness connectors (A).
7.
With stereo amplifier: Connect the stereo amplifier connectors (B).
8.
Install the harness clips (C).
9.
Connect the blower motor connector (A).
10.
Install the harness clip (B).

2. Passenger's Heater Duct - Install

Install the passenger's heater duct.

3. Glove Box - Install

Install the glove box.
