Passenger's Air Mix Control Motor Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE: Set the MAX COOL position before removing the passenger's air mix control motor.

1. Center Console - Remove

Remove the center console.

2. Glove Box - Remove

Remove the glove box.

3. Passenger's Heater Duct - Remove

Remove the passenger's heater duct.

4. Heater Pipe Cover - Remove
Remove the heater pipe cover (A).


5. Passenger's Air Mix Control Motor - Remove

Disconnect the passenger's air mix control motor connector (A).
2.
Remove the passenger's air mix control motor (B).

1. Passenger's Air Mix Control Motor - Install

Make sure the air mix door and linkage move smoothly.
2.
Align the passenger's air mix control motor (A) with the gear, then install the motor.
3.
Connect the passenger's air mix control motor connector (B).
4.
After installation, make sure the motor runs smoothly.

2. Heater Pipe Cover - Install
Install the heater pipe cover (A).


3. Passenger's Heater Duct - Install

Install the passenger's heater duct.

4. Glove Box - Install

Install the glove box.

5. Center Console - Install

Install the center console.
