Ignition Key Light Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Column Cover - Remove

Remove the column covers.

2. Ignition Key Light - Test

Disconnect the steering lock connector.

The LED should come on when power is connected to terminal No. 3 and ground is connected to terminal No. 2.

If the LED does not come on, the ignition key light is faulty; replace the steering lock (A).
4.
Connect the steering lock connector.

3. Column Cover - Install

Install the column covers.
