Wiper Motor Removal and Installation
1. Cowl Cover - Remove

Remove the cowl covers.

2. Linkage Assembly - Remove
1.
Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
2.
Remove the wiper linkage assembly (A).

3. Windshield Wiper Motor - Remove
1.
Remove the connection rod (A).
2.
Remove the setting plate (B).
3.
Remove the wiper motor (C).
4.
Note the alignment marks (A) on the link and motor cover (B), and remove the link (C).
5.
Remove the motor cover from the wiper motor (D).

1. Windshield Wiper Motor - Install
1.
Before installing the wiper motor, connect the wiper motor connector, and turn the wiper/washer switch ON to (LO) or (HI) position, then OFF to return the wiper motor shaft to the park position.
NOTE:
Do not use the windshield wiper/washer switch (INT) position in this step.
Apply multipurpose grease to the moving parts.
Check the wiper motor operation.

Install the motor cover (A) to the windshield wiper motor (B).
3.
Align the marks (C) of link (D) and the motor cover, and install the link.
4.
Install the wiper motor (A).
5.
Install the setting plate (B).
6.
Install the connection rod (C).

2. Linkage Assembly - Install
1.
Install the wiper linkage assembly (A).
2.
Connect the windshield wiper motor connector.

3. Cowl Cover - Install

Install the cowl covers.

4. Windshield Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjustment

After installing, adjust the windshield wiper arms.
