Audio Remote Switch Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Driver's Airbag - Remove

Remove the driver's airbag.

2. Steering Wheel Trim - Remove
1.
Remove the left steering wheel trim (A).
NOTE: The screws (B) remains in the rear cover.

Disconnect the HFL switch connector (C) and the audio remote switch connector (D).

3. Audio Remote Switch - Remove
Remove the audio remote switch (A) from the steering wheel trim (B).

1. Audio Remote Switch - Install
Install the audio remote switch (A) to the steering wheel trim (B).


2. Steering Wheel Trim - Install

Connect the audio remote switch connector (A) and the HFL switch connector (B).

Install the left steering wheel trim (C).

3. Driver's Airbag - Install

Install the driver's airbag.
