Injector Removal and Installation
1. Fuel Pressure - Relieve


2. Intake Manifold - Remove


3. Injector - Remove

Remove the fuel joint hose mounting bolt (B).

Disconnect the injector connectors (C).

4.
Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts (D) from the fuel rails (E).

5.
Remove the fuel rails and the injectors from the injector base (F).

6.
Remove the injector clips (G) from the fuel rails.

7.
Remove the injectors (H) from the fuel rails.

1. Injector - Install

Coat the new O-rings (black) (A) with clean engine oil, and insert the injectors (B) into the fuel rails (C).

Install the injector clips (D).

3.
Coat the new injector O-rings (green) (E) with clean engine oil.

4.
Install the fuel rails and the injectors in the injector base (F).

5.
Install the fuel rail mounting bolts (G).

6.
Connect the injector connectors (H).

7.
Install the fuel joint hose mounting bolt (I).


2. Fuel Leak - Check

Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, but do not operate the starter. After the fuel pump runs for about 2 seconds, the fuel rail will be pressurized. Repeat this two or three times, then check for fuel leakage.
