Front Seat Flexible Cable Removal and Installation
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, 2-door, 4-door and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.
Disconnect the front seat flexible cable (C) from the worm gear (D) by pulling out the cable housing.

Disconnect the front seat flexible cable from the slide motor (E).
NOTE: Take care not to kink the cable.

Disconnect the slide motor connector (A).
5.
Remove the slide motor (B) while disconnecting it from the front seat short flexible cable (C).
6.
Pull out the front seat short flexible cable (A) from the worm gear (B).

Flex Cable - Install
1.
Install the front seat short flexible cable (A) to the worm gear (B).
NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the worm gear area.
2.
Install the slide motor (A) to the slide motor bracket (B) while connecting it to the front seat short flexible cable (C).
3.
Connect the slide motor connector (D).
4.
Connect the front seat flexible cable (A) to the slide motor (B).
5.
Install the front seat flexible cable to the worm gear (C).
NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the worm gear area.
