Multi-information display unit stays on with the vehicle in the OFF mode
NOTE:
Check for aftermarket accessories that may interfere with the navigation system.
The vehicle may have been used for a show event. Check for a short jumper harness in-line with audio-navigation unit connector A (24P). If a jumper harness is present, remove it, and return it to Tech Line.

The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?

Disconnect the following connector.
NOTE: Eject the disc before disconnecting the audio-navigation unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.

Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P)

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

Is there battery voltage?

     
YES
     
     
     
Repair a short to power in the wire between the No. B37 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation unit.?
