NOTE:
Check the vehicle battery condition first

This navigation DTC sets when NG is indicated in the Rear Camera diagnosis (the Rear Camera icon is red in the System Link).
Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information
.
Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

Problem verification:

Clear the hard error codes

?2.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then select the ON mode.
?3.
Check for hard error codes
.
Is DTC 2608 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?
2.
Determine possible failure area (CAMERA ADPT line, others):
Determine possible failure area (CAMERA ADPT line, others)
?1.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Disconnect the following connector.
2-door: Rearview camera 8P connector
4-door: Rearview camera 12P connector
?3.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
?4.
Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

ON mode
2-door: Rearview camera 8P connector: disconnected
4-door: Rearview camera 12P connector: disconnected

YES
The CAMERA ADPT wire is OK. Go to step 4.
NO
Go to step 3.

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

ON mode
2-door: Rearview camera 8P connector: disconnected
4-door: Rearview camera 12P connector: disconnected

Audio-navigation unit connector G (24P) No. 17 (LT BLU)
Test point 2
Body ground
Is there about 3.0 V?
YES
Repair an open in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera.?
NO
Replace the audio-navigation unit

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

4-door: Rearview camera 12P connector: disconnected

YES
Replace the rearview camera

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

4-door: Rearview camera 8P connector: disconnected

Test point 2
Body ground
Is there continuity?
YES
There is an open in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera. Replace the affected shielded harness.?
NO
Replace the audio-navigation unit
