Audio-Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2703
DTC 2703: Aircon Diag
NOTE:
This navigation DTC sets when NG is indicated in the Aircon diagnosis (the A/C icon is red in the System Link).
Check for B-CAN DTCs and resolve them before troubleshooting.
Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.

Is DTC 2703 indicated?

     
YES
     
     
     
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
     
NO
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?

Open wire check (B CAN-H line, B CAN-L line):

Open wire check (B CAN-H line, B CAN-L line)

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

Disconnect the following connectors.

?3.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P): disconnected
 
Climate control unit 32P connector: disconnected
Test circuit
B CAN-H
Test point 1
Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) No. 4 (PNK)
Test point 2
Climate control unit 32P connector No. 32 (PNK)

Test circuit
B CAN-L
Test point 1
Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) No. 2 (BLU)
Test point 2
Climate control unit 32P connector No. 30 (BLU)


Is there continuity?

     
YES
     
     
     
The B CAN-H wire and the B CAN-L wires are OK. Go to step 3.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the climate control unit.?

Climate control unit check (substitution):

Reconnect all the connectors.

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then select the ON mode.

Is DTC 1501 indicated?

NO
     
     
     
Replace the original climate control unit.?
