Connect the HDS to the DLC (A) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode. |

Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS when repeatedly pressing and releasing the paddle shifter - (downshift switch).

Repair a short to body ground in the PADDLE SW DOWN wire between cable reel connector A (20P) and the PCM.? |

The PADDLE SW DOWN wire is not shorted. Go to step 7. |

Reconnect PCM connector A (51P). |
?2. |
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode. |

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
