NOTE:
Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

Is the audio information displayed?

     
YES
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?
     
NO
     
     
     
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

Determine possible failure area (Audio panel, others):

Check if any MID information appears on the multi-information display.

Is there any information displayed?

     
YES
     
     
     
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to step 3.
3.
Fuse check:

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

Check the following fuses.

Are the fuses OK?

Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Replace the fuse(s), and recheck. If the fuse(s) blows again, check for a short in the No. A22 (10 A) fuse, No. B37 (7.5 A) fuse and/or the C-4 (7.5 A) fuse circuits.?

Open wire check (+B AUDIO line):

Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

The +B AUDIO wires is OK. Go to step 5.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire(s) between the No. A22 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation unit.?

Open wire check (+B AUDIO (ODMD) line):

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

The +B AUDIO (ODMD) is OK. Go to step 6.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire(s) between the No. C-4 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash sub fuse box and the audio-navigation unit.?

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

The ACC wire is OK. Go to step 7.

Repair an open in the wire between the No. B37 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation unit.?

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

Repair an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and body ground (G505) and/or (G506).?
