Transmission range switch defective or out of adjustment |

Shift cable broken or out of adjustment |

|
Control pin broken |
|
|
Control shaft assembly worn or damaged |
|
|
Check for a stored DTC, and check for loose connectors. |
|
|
|
|
|
Check for a loose shift cable at the shift lever and the transmission control lever. |
|
|
Check the control shaft assembly for wear and damage. If the control shaft assembly is worn or damaged, replace it as an assembly. | |
