Brake Pedal Position Switch Test
1. Brake Pedal Position Switch - Test
Do not connect the brake pedal position switch connector with the brake pedal position switch removed.
The engine may start if the start/stop button is pressed as the system interprets that the brake pedal is depressed.
Unintended starting of the engine is dangerous.
1.
Disconnect the connector (A).
2.
Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
3.
If the test results are not as specified, adjust the brake pedal position switch (B), then recheck. If the results are still not as specified, replace the brake pedal position switch.

2. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
