Dashboard Removal and Installation
NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the

and the
precautions and procedures
before doing repairs or service.
1.
12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect
NOTE: Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
2.
Dashboard Center Lower Cover - Remove
3.
Driver's Dashboard Switch Panel - Remove
4.
Gauge Control Module - Remove
5.
Both A-Pillar Trims - Remove
6.
Both Side Defogger Vent Trims - Remove
7.
Center Speaker - Remove (With Stereo Amplifier)
8.
Automatic Lighting Control Unit-Sensor - Remove (Without Automatic Wiper with Automatic Lighting)
9.
Front Passenger's Airbag - Remove (after the airbag deployment)
1.
If the front passenger's airbag has deployed,
disconnect the front passenger's airbag connector, and remove the bolts securing the front passenger's airbag
.

Front Passenger's Airbag Bolts - Remove (before the airbag deployment)
11.
Dashboard - Remove
1.
Remove the harness clips (A) at the passenger's dashboard trim area.
2.
Adjust the steering column to the full tilt down position, and to the full telescopic out position.
3.
Remove the dashboard (A).
4.
Remove the harness clips (B).

Passenger's Dashboard Frame - Remove
13.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
