Attach a wrench to the drive belt auto-tensioner (A) and slowly (at least 3 seconds) compress the auto-tensioner in the direction shown, the full length of its stroke, then slowly (at least 3 seconds) move the auto-tensioner the opposite direction the full length of its stroke. Repeat this operation three times.
