Before doing this troubleshooting procedure, find out if the vehicle was in a collision. If so, verify that all the required components were replaced with new components of the correct part number and were properly installed

B0052-11 Short or decreased resistance in the front passenger's seat belt buckle switch
DTC (SRS)

Problem verification:
Problem verification
?1.
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
?2.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds. Buckle and unbuckle the front passenger's seat belt several times.
?3.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

B0052-11 Short or decreased resistance in the front passenger's seat belt buckle switch
Is DTC B0052-11 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures. If another DTC is indicated, troubleshoot the DTC.?
2.
Front passenger's seat belt buckle switch check:
Front passenger's seat belt buckle switch check
?1.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
?2.
Disconnect the front passenger's seat belt buckle switch 2P connector (A) on the floor wire harness.
?3.
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
?4.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.
?5.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

B0052-11 Short or decreased resistance in the front passenger's seat belt buckle switch
Is DTC B0052-11 indicated?
YES
Short in the floor wire harness; replace the floor wire harness, then clear the DTC.?
NO
Faulty front passenger's seat belt buckle switch;
replace the front passenger's seat belt buckle assembly
, then clear the DTC.?
