Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor - Test

Disconnect the connector (A).
NOTE:
To prevent damage, cover the connector using a shop towel.
Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary.

Measure the transmission fluid temperature sensor resistance between connector (B) terminals No. 2 and No. 3.
Standard:
50 ??25 k?
If the resistance is within the standard, the test is complete.
If the resistance is out of the standard, check for open or short in the solenoid wire harness. If the solenoid wire harness is OK,
replace the transmission fluid temperature sensor
.

All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
