Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
|
?2. |
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode. |
?3. |
Turn the rear window wiper switch to ON for 15 seconds or more, then turn the switch OFF. |
?4. |
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Without keyless access system: Go to step 2. |
|
|
|
With keyless access system: Go to step 5. |
|
|
|
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.? |

Check the following fuse.

Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground in the No. C40 (10 A) fuse circuit.? |

Disconnect the following connector.

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

The IG1 RR WIPER wire is OK. Go to step 4. |

Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.? |

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. |

Does the wiper motor run and does it pulse normally?

Check the following fuses.

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. |

Remove the rear wiper motor relay from the under-dash relay holder B, and test it. | |
Is the relay OK?

Replace the rear wiper motor relay, then recheck.? |

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
