DTC U3000-51: Multipurpose Camera Unit Update Incomplete
NOTE:
Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information.
This DTC is indicated when the multipurpose camera unit update is not completed properly.
Do not turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode while updating the multipurpose camera unit. If you turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode before completion, the multipurpose camera unit will be damaged.

1.
Multipurpose camera unit check (update):

Multipurpose camera unit check (update)

Update the multipurpose camera unit.
NOTE: This DTC is erased and no history is recorded if update is successfully completed.

?2.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

?3.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 2 seconds.

?4.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC U3000-51 indicated?

     
YES
     
     
     
Check for loose terminals in the multipurpose camera unit 20P connector. If the multipurpose camera unit was updated and the symptom/indication is still present, replace the multipurpose camera unit.?
     
NO
     
     
     
Troubleshooting is complete. If any other DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.?
