Paddle Shifter Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repair or service.

Paddle Shifter + (Upshift Switch)

1.	Steering Wheel - Remove

Remove the steering wheel.

2.	Steering Wheel Rear Cover - Remove

Remove the steering wheel rear cover (A).

3.	Steering Wheel Trim - Remove

Remove the steering wheel trim (A).

4.	Paddle Shifter + (Upshift Switch) - Remove

Disconnect the paddle shifter + (upshift switch) connector (A).

Remove the paddle shifter + (upshift switch) (B).

Paddle Shifter - (Downshift Switch)

1.	Steering Wheel - Remove

Remove the steering wheel.

2.	Steering Wheel Rear Cover - Remove

Remove the steering wheel rear cover (A).

3.	Steering Wheel Trim - Remove

Remove the steering wheel trim (A).

4.	Paddle Shifter - (Downshift Switch) - Remove

Disconnect the paddle shifter - (downshift switch) connector (A).

Remove the paddle shifter - (downshift switch) (B).

Paddle Shifter + (Upshift Switch)

1.	Paddle Shifter + (Upshift Switch) - Install

Install the paddle shifter + (upshift switch) (A).

Connect the paddle shifter + (upshift switch) connector (B).

2.	Steering Wheel Trim - Install

Install the steering wheel trim (A).

3.	Steering Wheel Rear Cover - Install

Install the steering wheel rear cover (A).

4.	Steering Wheel - Install

Install the steering wheel.

5.	VSA Sensor Neutral Position - Memorize

Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.

6.	Steering Angle Sensor Neutral Position - Clear

Do the steering angle sensor neutral position clear.

7.	TPMS - Calibration

Do the TPMS calibration.
