Multipurpose Camera Aiming
The multipurpose camera unit must be re-aimed if the multipurpose camera unit or the windshield is removed or replaced. The LKAS and ACC indicators (amber) will blink, if the aiming process is not completed correctly. If any other DTC is indicated, do the indicated DTC's troubleshooting first. If the DTC is not repaired, you cannot complete the multipurpose camera aiming procedure: |

Cautions for the operation environment: |
? |
Multipurpose camera aiming should be done on a flat place.
? |
To aim the multipurpose camera, you need the following amount of open space in front of the vehicle: 7 m (23 ft) measured from the front bumper, 4 m (13 ft) wide, and 1.5 m (4.9 ft) height.
? |
Make sure the vehicle is not facing any direct light source as this will affect the static camera aiming.
? |
Make sure there are no black and white checkered or dark and light alternating patterns directly behind the targets as this will affect the static camera aiming.
? |
Aiming the multipurpose camera requires the HDS.
? |
Do not put any objects on the instrument panel.
? |
Remove the all cargo from the vehicle except the tool kit.
? |
Make sure that there are no stains, dust or dirt on the lens of the multipurpose camera unit, and the windshield area where the camera is mounted.
? |
Make sure that all doors are closed.
? |
Make sure the suspension has not been modified.
? |
Make sure all the tire sizes are correct and that their pressure is correct.
? |
Make sure the fuel tank is full.
? |
Make sure the steering wheel is pointed straight ahead, and do not turn it after setting the vehicle.
? |
Shift the transmission to P position, and apply the parking brake.
When marking on the floor, use suitable tape to mark the exact locations.

Multipurpose Camera - Dynamic Camera Aim |
Precaution for the Dynamic Camera Aiming: |
Carry out the dynamic camera aiming on a flat and straight road that has several lanes that will allow the vehicle to be driven at speeds 45 mph (72 km/h) or more for 10 minutes or more.
You must complete the dynamic aiming within 30 minutes or the aiming will fail.
Poor weather such as rain, fog, or snow may prevent the camera from aiming.
Wet roads can also affect the aiming procedure if the yellow or white lines are not visible because of reflections caused by the water.
When you do the dynamic camera aiming in the dark, turn the headlights on and ensure that the windshield and headlights are clean.
If the dynamic camera aiming fails for some reason, an aiming failure code is displayed on the HDS. In this case, carry out the troubleshooting for the code indicated using the HDS.
When doing the aiming procedure, make sure you drive in the center of the lane and avoid using the windshield wipers or the turn signal.
