EPS DTC Troubleshooting: 11-01, 11-02, 12-01
DTC 11-01: Low/High IG1-Terminal Voltage
DTC 11-02: Control Unit Power Supply Voltage
DTC 12-01: Motor Power Supply Voltage
NOTE:
Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the how to troubleshoot the EPS.
If the ignition switch is turned to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and the engine is started, this DTC can be stored when any of these occur:

Quick-charging the battery.
?
High voltage battery (24 V) is connected to the vehicle.
?
Dead battery is connected to the vehicle.

Start the engine.

Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?

Check the battery and the PGM-FI DTCs. If it is OK, go to step 2.

IG1 VSA/ABS line check:

IG1 VSA/ABS line check

Check for a poor connection at all IG1 VSA/ABS line connections between the EPS control unit connector A (11P) terminal No. 9 and the under-dash fuse/relay box No. B10 (7.5 A) fuse.

Are the connections OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 3.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair the IG1 VSA/ABS wire.?

+B EPS line check:

+B EPS line check
?1.
Check for a poor connection at all +B EPS line connections between the EPS control unit connector A (11P) terminal No. 2 and the under-hood fuse/relay box No. A2-1 (70 A) fuse.

Are the connections OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair the +B EPS wire.?

EPS control unit check (update):

EPS control unit check (update)
?1.
Update the EPS control unit if it does not have the latest software.

?2.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then start the engine.

?3.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
