NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1.
Problem verification:

Problem verification

Clear the DTCs with the HDS.


?2.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then the ON mode.

?3.
Wait for at least 6 seconds.

?4.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC U1286 indicated?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 2.
     
NO
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.?
2.
Keyless access system check:

Keyless access system check
?1.
Check the door lock/unlock operation by the function of the keyless access system.

Do the door lock/unlock operate normally?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 3.
     
NO
     
     
     
3.
Open wire check (B-CAN_H lines):

Open wire check (B-CAN_H lines)
?1.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

?2.
Disconnect the following connector.

?3.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
OFF mode
Wireless charger 7P connector: disconnected
Keyless access control unit connector B (28P): disconnected
Test circuit
B-CAN_H
Test point 1
Wireless charger 7P connector No. 3 (PNK)
Test point 2
Keyless access control unit connector B (28P) No. 6 (PNK)


Is there continuity?

     
YES
     
     
     
The B-CAN_H wire is OK. Go to step 4
     
NO
     
     
     
An open or poor connection in the B-CAN_H wire between the wireless charger and the keyless access control unit.?
4.
Open wire check (B-CAN_L lines):

Open wire check (B-CAN_L lines)
?1.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
OFF mode
Wireless charger 7P connector: disconnected
Keyless access control unit connector B (28P): disconnected
Test circuit
B-CAN_L
Test point 1
Wireless charger 7P connector No. 2 (BLU)
Test point 2
Keyless access control unit connector B (28P) No. 7 (BLU)


Is there continuity?

     
YES
     
     
     
The B-CAN_L wire is OK. Replace the keyless access control unit.?
     
NO
     
     
     
An open or poor connection in the B-CAN_L wire between the wireless charger and the keyless access control unit.?
