Check the following fuse.

Under-hood fuse/relay box

Is the fuse OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
The fuse is OK. Reinstall the fuse, then go to step 2.
     
NO
     
     
     
Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground on the No. A21 (10 A) fuse circuit.?

Under-dash fuse/relay box

Is the fuse OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
The fuse is OK. Reinstall the fuse, then go to step 3.
     
NO
     
     
     
Replace the fuse. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then back to the OFF (LOCK) mode. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground on the No. B7 (7.5 A) fuse circuit.?

Open wire check (?B BACK UP line):

Open wire check (?B BACK UP line)

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Disconnect the following connector.
Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector

?3.
Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
 
Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
Test point 1
Test point 2
Body ground

Is there battery voltage?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire between the under-hood fuse/relay box and the multipurpose camera unit.?

Open wire check (IG1 OPTION line):

Open wire check (IG1 OPTION line)

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

?2.
Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
Vehicle ON mode
 
Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
Test point 1
Test point 2
Body ground

Is there battery voltage?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 5.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire between the under-dash fuse/relay box and the multipurpose camera unit.?
5.
Open wire check (GND line):

Open wire check (GND line)
?1.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

?2.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
 
Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector: disconnected
Test circuit
GND
Test point 1
Test point 2
Body ground

Is there continuity?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 6.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open in the wire between the multipurpose camera unit and body ground at G501.?

ACC system DTCs check:

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait for 5 seconds.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Check for poor connections or loose terminals between the gauge control module and the multipurpose camera unit. If OK, replace the multipurpose camera unit.?
