Diagnostic procedure
1.
Check for loose battery terminals or connections.
2.
Test the battery for a low state of charge
.
3.
Check for PGM-FI DTCs
.
4.
Check the starter
.
5.
Check starter cut relay
.
6.
Check the starter system circuit troubleshooting
.
7.
M/T:
Check the clutch pedal position switch A
.
8.
CVT:
Check the transmission range switch
.
9.
Check the ignition switch and its related circuit
.
Also check for
Poor ground at G401 (M/T) or G101 (CVT)
Seized engine
