Engine Oil Pump Removal and Installation

1.
Front Grille Cover - Remove
2.
Air Cleaner - Remove
3.
12 Volt Battery - Remove
4.
Turbocharger Joint and Turbocharger Joint Bracket B - Remove
5.
Cam Chain - Remove
6.
Cam Chain Drive Sprocket - Remove
1.
Remove the key (A) and the cam chain drive sprocket (B).
NOTE: Check the direction of the key. When the key is installed, install the key as same direction of the original one.

Universal Lifting Eyelet - Install

Engine Support Hanger - Install
NOTE: Be careful when working around the windshield.
1.
Remove the front damper caps.
2.
Install the engine support hanger onto the vehicle as shown.
3.
Attach the hook (A) to the slotted hole in the universal lifting eyelet.
4.
Tighten the wing nut (B) by hand, and lift and support the engine.

Oil Pan - Remove

Oil Pump - Remove
1.
Remove the oil strainer (A) and the oil pump (B).

Oil Pump - Install
1.
Install the oil pump (A).
2.
Install the oil strainer (B) with a new O-ring (C).

Oil Pan - Install
3.
Engine - Support
1.
Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the oil pan.
4.
Engine Support Hanger and Universal Lifting Eyelet - Remove
5.
Cam Chain Drive Sprocket - Install
1.
Install the cam chain drive sprocket (A) and the key (B).

Cam Chain - Install
7.
Turbocharger Joint and Turbocharger Joint Bracket B - Install
8.
12 Volt Battery - Install
9.
Air Cleaner - Install
10.
Front Grille Cover - Install
11.
Engine Oil - Refill
