2. Shift Lever Knob - Remove (Except Si)
1.
Lower the shift lever boot (A) to release the hooks from the boot.
2.
Remove the shift lever knob (B).

3. Shift Lever Knob - Remove (Si)
1.
Lower the shift lever boot (A) while releasing the hooks (B) from the shift lever boot ring (C).
2.
Loosen the shift lever boot ring clockwise.
3.
Remove the shift lever knob (D).

4. Shift Lever Boot Ring - Remove (Si)


6. Shift Lever Housing - Remove


7. Clip Spring - Remove


8. Clamp - Remove


9. Change Wire - Remove (Shift Lever Side)

NOTE:
While expanding the lock tab (A), rotate the socket holder retainer (B) counterclockwise until it stops, then remove the socket holder (C).
Do not remove the change wire by pulling the change wire guide (D).


NOTE: Remove the necessary part(s).

12. Change Wire Bracket - Remove


15. Change Wire Crip - Remove


16. Lock Pin - Remove


17. Change Wire - Remove (Transmission Side)

1. Change Wire - Install (Transmission Side)


2. Lock Pin - Install


3. Change Wire Crip - Install


6. Change Wire Bracket - Install


9. Change Wire - Install (Shift Lever Side)

NOTE:
Install the socket holder (A), then rotate the socket holder retainer (B) clockwise until it stops.
Do not install the change wire by holding the change wire guide (C).

10. Clamp - Install


11. Clip Spring - Install


12. Shift Lever Housing - Install


14. Shift Lever Boot Ring and Shift Lever Knob - Install (Si)
1.
Install and turn the shift lever boot ring (A) until it reaches the bottom of the threads on the shift lever.
2.
Install and turn the shift lever knob (B) until it contacts the shift lever boot ring.
NOTE: Make sure the shift lever knob is installed in the correct direction.
3.
Tighten the shift lever boot ring counterclockwise with the shift pattern on the shift lever knob properly aligned.
4.
Install the shift lever boot (C) by hooking the hooks (D) with the shift lever boot ring.

15. Shift Lever Knob - Install (Except Si)
1.
Install the shift lever knob (A).
NOTE: Tighten the shift lever knob until the shift pattern is properly aligned.
2.
Install the shift lever boot (B).
