Millimeter Wave Radar Removal and Installation
When Removing the Millimeter Wave Radar Assembly


NOTE: If necessary, remove the splash separator.

2. Millimeter Wave Radar Assembly - Remove


NOTE: Do not disassemble the millimeter wave radar.

1.
Remove the harness clip (A).

2.
Disconnect the connector (B).

3.
Remove the millimeter wave radar assembly (C).






4.
Remove the screws (A).

5.
Remove the millimeter wave radar (C) from the main bracket (D).

6.
If necessary, remove these items:

Spacer B
Aiming bolt (E)
Grip (F)

When Installing the Millimeter Wave Radar Assembly

1. Millimeter Wave Radar Assembly - Install

If necessary, install these items:

Aiming bolt (A)
Spacer B
Grip (C)

2.
Install the millimeter wave radar (D) on the main bracket (E).

3.
Install the screws (F).

NOTE: After installing the millimeter wave radar, measure the distance 24.7 mm (0.972 in) between the millimeter wave radar and its bracket.

If the clearance is out of the standard, adjust the aiming bolt.






4.
Install the millimeter wave radar assembly (A). Tighten the bolts and nuts in the numbered sequence shown.

5.
Connect the connector (B).

6.
Install the harness clip (C).


NOTE: If the splash separator was removed, install the splash separator.

When Installing the Radar Pipe Bracket

3. DTC - Check


1.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

2.
Connect the HDS to the DLC (A) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

3.
Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle and the multipurpose camera unit. If it does not, go to the DLC circuit troubleshooting.

4.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

NOTE: If DTC P2583-64 is indicated, troubleshoot the indicated DTC first.
