This DTC is stored when the millimeter wave radar determines that the detection capability (sensitivity) has decreased, based on the radar reflection condition of the road surface and roadside and sends the received condition to the multipurpose camera unit. A decrease in the detection capability (sensitivity) of the millimeter wave radar does not always mean a stain detection output.
?
Wipe off stain on the surface of the millimeter wave radar and test-drive the vehicle. If the DTC for stain on the millimeter wave radar is no longer output, the millimeter wave radar is not faulty.
