Vehicle - Lift

Shift Lever Knob - Remove
1.
Lower the shift lever boot (A) while releasing the hooks (B) from the shift lever boot ring (C).
2.
Loosen the shift lever boot ring clockwise.
3.
Remove the shift lever knob (D).
3.
Shift Lever Boot Ring - Remove
4.
Center Console - Remove
5.
Clip Spring - Remove
6.
Clamp - Remove
7.
Change Wire - Remove (Shift Lever Side)
NOTE:
While expanding the lock tab (A), rotate the socket holder retainer (B) counterclockwise until it stops, then remove the socket holder (C).
Do not remove the change wire by pulling the change wire guide (D).
8.
Shift Lever Housing - Remove
9.
Engine Undercover - Remove
NOTE: Remove the necessary part(s).
10.
Exhaust Pipe A - Remove
11.
Change Wire Bracket - Remove
12.
Air Cleaner - Remove
13.
Charge Air Cooler Hose - Disconnect
NOTE: Remove the necessary part(s).
14.
Change Wire Crip - Remove
15.
Lock Pin - Remove
16.
Change Wire - Remove (Transmission Side)

Torque: N·m (kgf·m, lbf·ft)

Change Wire - Install (Transmission Side)
2.
Lock Pin - Install
3.
Change Wire Crip - Install
4.
Charge Air Cooler Hose - Install
5.
Air Cleaner - Install
6.
Change Wire Bracket - Install
NOTE: When installing the change wires, visibly the wire with the white tape and line must be located under the wire without it.
7.
Exhaust Pipe A - Install
8.
Engine Undercover - Install
9.
Change Wire - Install (Shift Lever Side)
NOTE:
Install the socket holder (A), then rotate the socket holder retainer (B) clockwise until it stops.
Do not install the change wire by holding the change wire guide (C).
10.
Clamp - Install
11.
Clip Spring - Install
12.
Shift Lever Housing - Install

Center Console - Install
14.
Shift Lever Boot Ring and Shift Lever Knob - Install
1.
Install and turn the shift lever boot ring (A) until it reaches the bottom of the threads on the shift lever.
2.
Install and turn the shift lever knob (B) until it contacts the shift lever boot ring.
NOTE: Make sure the shift lever knob is installed in the correct direction.
3.
Tighten the shift lever boot ring counterclockwise with the shift pattern on the shift lever knob properly aligned.
4.
Install the shift lever boot (C) by hooking the hooks (D) with the shift lever boot ring.
