Carpet Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, 2-door, 4-door and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

Front

1. Both Front Seats - Remove

Remove both front seats.

2. Rear Seat Cushion - Remove

Remove the rear seat cushion.

3. Both Kick Panels - Remove

Remove both kick panels.

4. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Remove (4-Door)

Remove both B-pillar lower trims.

5. Steering Joint Cover - Remove

Remove the steering joint cover.

6. Both Front Console Covers - Remove

Remove both front console covers.

7. Rear Heater Joint Duct B - Remove

Remove the rear heater joint duct B.

8. Rear Heater Middle Duct - Remove (With Rear Vent)
Remove the rear heater middle duct (A).


9. Center Console Bracket - Remove
Remove the center console bracket (A).


10. Shift Lever Housing - Remove (M/T)

Remove the shift lever housing:

11. Shift Lever - Remove (A/T)

Remove the shift lever.

12. Shift Lever - Remove (CVT)

Remove the shift lever.

13. Front Carpet - Remove

Remove the clips (A).

2-door: Disconnect the front interior LF antenna connector (A).
3.
Remove the clips (A, B).
4.
2-door: Cut the front carpet (C) in the area (D) as shown.
5.
4-door: Release the hook and loop fasteners (E).
6.
Pull out the seat harnesses (F), then remove the front carpet.




Driver's side

Passenger's side

If necessary, remove the front clip base (A).
8.
If necessary, remove the floor mat holder (A).

Rear

1. Both Front Seats - Remove

Remove both front seats.

2. Rear Seat Cushion - Remove

Remove the rear seat cushion.

3. Both Rear Side Trim Panels - Remove (2-Door)

Remove both rear side trim panels.

4. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Remove (4-Door)

Remove both B-pillar lower trims.

5. Rear Heater Middle Duct - Remove (With Rear Vent)

Remove the rear heater middle duct.

6. Center Console Bracket - Remove

Remove the center console bracket.

7. Rear Carpet - Remove

Remove the rear carpet (A).

If necessary, remove the rear clip base (A).

Front

1. Front Carpet - Install

Install the floor mat holder (A).




Driver's side

Passenger's side

Install the front clip base (A).

2-door: When installing the new front carpet (A), cut the front carpet in the area (B) as shown.
4.
Pass the seat harnesses (C) through the hole in the front carpet, then install the front carpet.
5.
4-door: Install the hook and loop fasteners (D).
6.
Install the clips (E, F).
7.
2-door: Connect the front interior LF antenna connector (A).
8.
Install the clips (A).

2. Shift Lever - Install (CVT)

Install the shift lever.

3. Shift Lever - Install (A/T)

Install the shift lever.

4. Shift Lever Housing - Install (M/T)

Install the shift lever housing:

5. Rear Heater Middle Duct - Install (With Rear Vent)
Install the rear heater middle duct (A).


6. Rear Heater Joint Duct B - Install

Install the rear heater joint duct B.

7. Both Front Console Covers - Install

Install both front console covers.

8. Center Console Bracket - Install
Install the center console bracket (A).


9. Steering Joint Cover - Install

Install the steering joint cover.

10. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Install (4-Door)

Install both B-pillar lower trims.

11. Both Kick Panels - Install

Install both kick panels.

12. Rear Seat Cushion - Install

Install the rear seat cushion.

13. Both Front Seats - Install

Install both front seats.

Rear

1. Rear Carpet - Install

Install the rear clip base (A).

Install the rear carpet (A).

2. Center Console Bracket - Install

Install the center console bracket.

3. Rear Heater Middle Duct - Install (With Rear Vent)

Install the rear heater middle duct.

4. Both B-Pillar Lower Trims - Install (4-Door)

Install both B-pillar lower trims.

5. Both Rear Side Trim Panels - Install (2-Door)

Install both rear side trim panels.

6. Rear Seat Cushion - Install

Install the rear seat cushion.

7. Both Front Seats - Install

Install both front seats.
